August 2022:

August 14, Cyclebeat Club held another fundraiser for the Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock. This donation fundraising class builds on the June classes Cyclebeat held to promote this important cause. Three Tour de Rock participants were in studio to motivate the class, Anna McMillian (CTV Victoria media rep ), Chris Van Swieten and Tristan Williams (Vic PD).

Owner, Sally Larrington-Brown handed over another cheque to Chris, this one totalled $1,005. Thank you to all who donated yielding a total contribution of $2,255.00 for paediatric cancer research . A percentage of the funds raised will also go to Camp Goodtimes “Camp Goodtimes offers an extraordinary camp experience in a medically-supervised, safety-focused and supportive environment. We’ve been friendship-building and memory-making in British Columbia since 1985.”
